Video: writing a round

A few months back, we were tucked up in my loft room, sinking a few beers and tinkering with a loop pedal. What came out was the basis for a vocal round with words inspired by the dream dictionary’s definition of a crew at sea on a cold winter’s night. Here’s a quick edit of what happened from the perspective of a locked-off video camera.

It’s become a bit of a tradition for Amy to lug ye old video camera along to Nova’s Basement studio sessions. We don’t mind revealing the sheer talent we have for clicking our fingers, painting our nails and generally making a nuisance of ourselves in East London’s Strongroom studios.

As far as the new EP goes, we’re nearly there. A little bit o’ mixing, a little bit o’ mastering and she’ll soon be ready for downloading. Watch this space.
