Stop Hurting, released January 2012

"One of the best sounds to grace my ears this last year were the ladies of Novas Basement, a three piece based in London, who delightfully mix harmonies, strings, warm banter and witty lyrics."

We are also super excited to reveal our brand new Music Video by the very talented Gareth Axford:

Rainbird, released May 2011

'Rainbird' is a single by Nova's Basement, released on the 9th of May 2011. Driven by raspy acoustic guitar and urgent cello and violin arrangements, 'Rainbird' is an story about tortured mistresses and muses of 1960s rock legends.

The song was composed by the Nova's Basement girls in late 2010 through a collaboration with fashion designer Kelly Love. Love originally wrote a poem entitled 'Song of the Rainbird' to inspire her latest collection, and asked N.B. if they would magic it into an epic anthem.

Her James Dean, released September 2011

The People in the Middle, released November 2010

'The People in the Middle' and 'Her James Dean' were recorded during a film experiment gig with the friends of N.B. in November 2010. Their dear pal JesY donated her cool flat and everyone brought a video camera to capture some unplugged tunes. 'The People in the Middle' was edited by Neill Francis, and Amy edited 'Her James Dean' (very slowly!).

Nova's Basement EP, released 2008

The Nova's Basement EP was released in 2008 with strings by Rachel Menzies and Fiona Menzies, grand piano by Mike Hopkin, guitar and vocals by Amy Wagner. Recorded and mixed by Ian Dowling, Strongroom Studios, London. Mastered by Streaky Mastering.
